It has long been our vision to see the three primary gateways into South Walton beautifully landscaped to give people a sense of arrival and a shot of the beauty of nature as they come into the area. Working with FDOT and Walton County, we accomplished the landscaping of the US 331 gateway and set our sights on the east and west gateways next. We are thrilled this dream is becoming a reality as we write. The project to landscape the medians along US 98 from the Walton-Okaloosa County line to Sandestin through Miramar Beach is now complete, and it looks wonderful. We can’t wait to see it as the plants grow in and mature! And the East US 98 gateway landscape project is well underway now. We expect it to be complete by this summer. This is a tremendous milestone for Walton County and its citizens.
