Thank you for submitting an abstract outlining your proposed poster presentation at Scenic Symposium 2026. We have approved your poster proposal and are looking forward to seeing your poster presentation at the event!

We invite you to attend and participate in the entire event, which will take place Sept. 23‑24 at the Missouri Botanical Garden’s Bayer Center in St. Louis. Scenic Symposium is our biennial gathering of advocates, planners, designers, transportation professionals, conservation leaders, and community champions dedicated to protecting and enhancing America’s scenic character.

The Symposium activities will begin at 9 a.m. on Sept. 23 with guided tram tours of the world‑renowned Missouri Botanical Garden and will continue with engaging sessions throughout the day. The Symposium will resume with more informative content during the morning of its second day, Sept. 24, and will adjourn at noon.

If, however, you are unable to attend the entire event, the posters session will take place in the mid‑afternoon of the first day, Sept. 23. We would ask you to arrive by 1 p.m. to set up your poster.

Over two days, attendees will explore the issues shaping the future of scenic conservation, including scenic byways, utility undergrounding, billboard reform, placemaking, parks and open spaces, and emerging challenges affecting communities across the country. The program will feature presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities.

Please register your attendance now, and we will send you a confirmation email with a link giving you access to a special group rate for booking lodging at The Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza. The hotel is close to the Symposium’s venue, the Missouri Botanical Garden’s Bayer Center.

The Symposium’s poster presenters receive a 50% discount off of the regular registration fee. And poster presenters with a current student ID receive an even deeper discount, with registration costing only $15.
