Tell Reno officials: Protect our scenic character — reject the “Reno’s Neon Line District” sign proposal

The City of Reno is considering a proposal for a 60‑foot “Area Identification Structure” promoting the privately owned Reno’s Neon Line District — placed nearly a mile away from the district itself and adjacent to a residential neighborhood and cemetery. This design and location raise serious concerns about compatibility, safety, and compliance with the Reno Municipal Code.

Scenic America is urging the Department of Development Services to reject this application and require a public review before the proposed project may move forward.
