At Scenic America, we love America’s byways. From Route 66 to Kancamagus, America’s scenic byways are woven into the fabric of our nation’s history and culture. They’re all unique and special in their own ways, and help define the beauty of America. To celebrate the byways and the unique madness of March, we’re giving America a chance to decide its (unofficial) favorite scenic byway!

New for 2025: Submit your favorite scenic byway! This year, we’re giving America the opportunity to send in their favorite scenic byways for inclusion in the field. Submissions begin Thursday, March 6, and end Wednesday, March 12. Use the form below to submit your favorite scenic byways. Please limit your submissions to three scenic byways. The 16 byways with the most submissions will be included in the Round of 16.
