Stop Exterior Stadium Advertising in Hawaiʻi (SB 2074)

We stopped the bill that would have allowed outdoor advertising in the Waikīkī neighborhood — but we still must fight the stadium-sponsorship bill that would allow the blight of exterior building signage

Senate Bill 2074 would, for the first time, authorize commercial outdoor advertising on the exterior of buildings in Hawaiʻi.

Framed as a stadium naming rights measure, the bill would introduce large-scale advertising signage into a prominent public space — setting a precedent that could erode the longstanding prohibition against outdoor advertising in Hawaiʻi.

We urge you to contact members of the House Committee on Finance and ask them to oppose SB 2074.
