The Scenic SWPA 2023 Photo Contest is Open!
Our second annual Scenic SWPA 2023 Photo Contest is now open to anyone over 18 in our 10-county area.
Our region has beautiful scenery, and a lot of talented photographers. What’s more perfect than calling attention to our mission – to protect, enhance, and promote the scenic beauty, both natural and built, of southwestern Pennsylvania – than a photo contest that brings scenery and great photographers together? We believe our region is one of the most scenic (and photogenic) places on earth, and we look forward to you helping us prove it again!

We’ll award winners in 5 categories, as well as a Grand Prize winner, and all winners will be recognized online, on our website, through our media releases, and will receive a 2024 calendar that includes their winning work.
We have invited 4 of the region’s standout photographers, both professional and amateur, to be judges: Brad Berkstresser of Pittsburgh; Carolyn Doyle of Pittsburgh; Nicolette Tolomeo Germain from Portersville in Butler County, and Angelo Mamone of Westmoreland County.
