Scenic Nevada is a volunteer-run organization that, since 2000, has worked through advocacy, outreach, and marketing to influence state lawmakers, local governments, and Nevada residents to preserve, protect and enhance the scenic character of our state. Scenic Nevada members get the latest updates about developments in the area of scenic preservation and are alerted to opportunities to speak up in public forums and meetings for the issues that matter to them.

Challenges to scenic protections continue to mount. As the need arises, board members stand up in workshops and in courtrooms, at public meetings, and in legislative sessions. We partner with community organizations and leverage email campaigns and newsletters to keep policymakers, media outlets, and residents apprised of important preservation issues.
