The world premiere of the groundbreaking new documentary film This Space Available was held recently at the DOC NYC documentary film festival in New York City. Many Scenic America members and affiliates are featured in the film, including: Board members Ronald Lee Fleming and Margaret Lloyd, former president Kevin Fry, co-founder Charles Floyd, and Dennis Hathaway of L.A.-based Ban Billboard Blight.
The film premiered to a sold-out crowd at the IFC Center in lower Manhattan. A celebration following the film including the presentation of Scenic America's first-ever International Scenic Visionary Award to Saõ Paulo Mayor Gilberto Kassab.
